Inclusive Children’s Rights Festival is a unique four day event that celebrates child rights through awarded films produced by children and professional authors. All screenings are inclusive, that is they have video descriptions for visually impaired and blind, and standardised subtitles for the hard of hearing and deaf children and adults. Alongside screenings, the Festival includes inclusive film making and media literacy workshops, photo exhibition and discussion. The focus of this year’s Festival was violence against children. More than 30 films were screened this year. For video descriptions, Festival uses professional actors that are guided by blind editors who correct the video descriptions to assure the quality of the video descriptions. In 4 years, Festival has produced video descriptions for more than 120 films. Festival takes place in parallel in 10 Croatian cities: Zagreb, Varazdin, Rijeka, Split, Osijek, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Slavonski Brod, Osijek, Vukovar and Sibenik.
