The report, Things That Matter, was developed by Australian children and young people to celebrate the United Nations day for children and the 25th anniversary of child rights.

In seeking the views of Australia’s children and young people, UNICEF Australia Young Ambassadors asked more than 1500 children and young people in face-to-face and online consultations about the world they live in, what was important to them, what made them feel safe, what they worried about, who they worried about and whether they felt included in decisions that affected them.
