In a small house on a quiet, tree-lined street behind one of the main shopping malls in Lusaka, Zambia, young people are coming together to learn technology skills, share ideas and be part of a community dedicated to the ideals of innovation, creativity and sustainability.

Started by four local entrepreneurs in 2011, BongoHive provides out-of-the-box technological solutions that can be applied in economics, business, health, education and many other areas. Across Africa, innovation hubs like BongoHive are preparing young people for the job market and giving them an opportunity to contribute to society.
